Ammunition Transfer Fees 
 
Effective immediately, SoCal Armory will have the following ammunition vendor fee schedule for ammunition transfers. Please notify before shipping. This fee does not apply to the ammunition available for sale in-store or online.

Private Party Ammunition Transfer Fee 
$10
No sales tax due. 
Both parties must be present to conduct a Private Party Ammunition Transfer. 
 
Ammunition Order Transfer Fee
$20 (per 1k rounds) plus DROS fee and applicable CA Tax (sales and excise tax). 
*All ammunition shipments with a quantity less than 1000 rounds will be subject to the $20 transfer fee*

Storage fees for Vendor Transferred Ammunition Received: 
Up to 30 days = Free
31 – 60 days = $50 additional fee
61 – 90 days = $100.00 additional fee

Ammunition left for more than 90 days will be considered abandoned. 

CA Sales Tax must be collected on the full invoiced amount of the ammunition shipment 
All ammunition shipments received MUST have an original invoice with shipment so the proper sales tax can be collected.  

*Transfers will only be released to the customer listed on the invoice.
*Transfers left for more than 90 days will be considered abandoned. 
*All fees are non-refundable.
